This Reface is based on the famous CP digital pianos of yesteryear! Like the Rhodes, Wurly and Clavi, the CP is a signature sound in pop music history. This Reface CP synthesizer brings it all back! Nice and compact and an ideal instrument for bands and other stage acts.
The sound of the CP is particularly bold! For example, select a Rhodes sound, choose an effect from the effects section and you are back in the 70s! The technology "under the engine" on this Reface is anything but vintage. Via DIN-MIDI or USB-MIDI you easily connect the CP to your computer, or, for example, to another keyboard...which is very nice if you want to play the entire range with large keys. There is also a sound source connection to the aux input, for example your phone or tablet (or other media player); so you can play along with your favorite music / backing track.
In addition to the aforementioned Rhodes, Wurly and Clavi sounds, there is also a Toy Piano in there and of course the famous Yamaha CP80 sound. The distinctive CP sound (known from the 80s) is found in almost all modern synth sound sets. Using the Reface CP is easy: pick a sound, find a cool effect to go with it and....play! Fortunately, this CP has plenty of polyphony: at 128, this is ample.
