Why the CLP745?
This Yamaha Clavinova CLP-745 B digital piano is a very nice instrument in terms of value for money. The amplification system together with the keyboard gives the feeling as if you were sitting behind a real Yamaha C3 or Bösendorfer, and the clear control panel gives you endless possibilities to play along. This piano is suitable for experienced and driven keyboard players but also for anyone just starting out with piano. Especially for anyone just starting out with piano, and taking lessons on an acoustic piano, for example, we strongly recommend considering a piano like the CLP745. Not only does the sound and looks of the piano invite you to start playing, and thus to practice more, but also the real wood keyboard (GrandTouch-S) and the dynamics of the CFX and Bösendorfer samples respond exactly as an acoustic piano would also respond. GrandTouch-S keyboard
The piano is equipped with the GrandTouch-S keyboard, with 88 synthetic ebony and ivory keys. The keyboard also incorporates actual wood in the white keys, which automatically makes the playing feel a lot more realistic. Real Grand Expression technology gives the Clavinova an authentic, realistic sound, through both headphones and speakers. The Grand Acoustic Imaging technique cleverly uses the acoustics of the piano itself, making the sound even more realistic.
As if you were really there
Yamaha uses what is known as "binaural sampling. These are samples in a 3D stereo sound, giving the piano sound more "space" and making it sound more realistically "real. The Bösendorfer and CFX binaural samples sound very nice and are nice for people who often play with headphones on!
Bluetooth and Midi
The CLP-745 features on-board Bluetooth, both Bluetooth MIDI and a Bluetooth audio receiver. So you can connect to a smartphone or tablet, in combination with the Yamaha SmartPianist App. This then allows you to send out MIDI data from the piano, as well as receive it. You can also stream your favorite music to the piano, so you can play along with songs! You don't need any additional accessories for this. The piano has two headphone outputs, ideal if you want to listen to the piano sound together.
