Playability
The latest new GrandTouch™ keyboard has a very wide dynamic range, along with perfect touch and sensitivity, like that of a concert grand piano. The deep mechanical fulcrum provides an authentic playing feel whether the key is struck at the front or back. A lightly struck key feels soft, while a hard struck key actually feels harder, again just like the concert grand. Excellent consistency and nuanced epression give the pianist perfect control over dynamics and sound.
Sensitivity
Grand Expression Modeling is a groundbreaking new technology that allows the pianist to reproduce the unlimited nuances of sound of a concert grand piano. The ability to vary both the intensity and speed of touch for even greater diversity of sound adds a new dimension to the experience of your musical expression.
Sound Quality
The CLP-785 & CLP-795GP faithfully reproduces the dynamic range, and extremely diverse variations in sound of the YAMAHA CFX and the Bösendorfer Imperial. The new binaural sampling technology also makes it possible to experience the full sound spectrum when using the headphones, without fatigue. Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM) perfectly simulates the complex overtones generated by both the resonances of the strings, soundboard and cabinet of a grand piano. Every piece of music sounds simply fantastic thanks to the superb piano sound.

New Rhythms with Bass Accompaniment
The CLP-785 & CLP-795GP features 20 different rhythms (drums). A bass can be added to all these rhythms, thanks to chord recognition. A typical piano trio (piano-bass-drums) can thus be created.
Speaker System
The bass speaker of the very powerful speaker system is made from the spruce needle tree. The soundboard of a concert grand piano is produced from the same wood. The result is a very natural attack of the piano sound, especially in the bass range.
Acoustic piano style / design
The stylish design makes it possible, just like the acoustic piano, to open the lid and the lectern in one movement.
