Why then?
When your pedalboard exceeds a collection of 5 pedals, we recommend to leave the messing around with an poweradapter and a daisy-chain behind you and switch to using a multi power supply. Not only is this the best way to connect things easily, conveniently and stably from one central power supply, but more importantly, with a good multi-power supply you avoid a lot of hassle from hum, drop-outs or other issues. By investing in a good power supply you get a lot of convenience and security in return. So just do it.
Note that the right choice for a powersupply depends on your pedals and which power supply they require. There is nos standard choise here and so you'll have to dive into some technical requirements and features here. There is always a suitable one from Voodoo Lab's large collection and we are happy to help you come to the right choise. Either way, with Voodoo Lab you are asured of the highest achievable quality and performance.
Compact powerhouse.
The unique selling point of the X8 is its compact size vs. the amount of DC outlets it features. The X8 measures only 14x7x2.5 cm but offers no less than eight fully isolated, high current (500mA each) 9vDC outlets. This makes it the most powerful power supply in the most compact size that Voodoo Lab has to offer. This little powerhouse will fit in a tiny gap on or under your board.
Please note; the X8 provides 9vDC output only. You cannot power other values such as 12 or 18vDC or AC power with the X8.
The X8 itself is powered by the included 12v / 2A power adapter and the X8 can also function as an expander kit of the Pedalpower 3 or 3 Plus.
What's in the box?
In addition to the X8 itself and the power adapter, 8 standard DC power cables (angled / straight barrels) and velcrow are also included.
