Tokai is a company with a rich history. The Japanese guitar company has been around since the 1950s but really became known worldwide in the early 1980s. At that time the guitars of the Japanese company were immensely popular due to the dip that both Fender and Gibson were experiencing; people started looking for alternatives from Ibanez, Yamaha and...Tokai, among others. For years there was no import into Europe of Tokai and the guitars were off the radar for a long time, causing the brand to fade further into the background and at the same time -among enthusiasts- gaining cult status. The "better than the original" image has stayed with many guitarists and passed on to the younger generations and we are pleased to offer a large collection of both the affordable Chinese and the professional Japanese collection

And this is the real deal! This Japanese built Tokai is competitively priced with specs like; 2-piece mahogany body, 2-piece maple top, rosewood fingerboard, one piece mahogany neck, PAF-Vintage MK2S pickups and a switchcraft 3 way selector switch. And of course, the maple plaintop with Matte Violin finish completes it all!

This guitar comes with a luxury Tokai case. The guitar comes with matching certificates
