These snares are hand-hammered in Japan by Tama's best metal workers. Not only do these snares sound extraordinary, they're also breathtakingly beautiful. And, each and every one of them is unique!
Copper is a relatively soft material and snare drums with copper shells provide a deep and complex sound with a great dynamic range. The unique hand hammering that makes this Star Reserve so special adds an extra dose of rich harmonic overtones to the shell's sound character. With a depth of 6.5" you'll get a nice "thud" out of it as well. A beautiful snare drum that will be extremely satisfying for the connaisseur!
