Tama's highly advanced version of a direct drive pedal. Direct drive pedals have a unique advantage, immediate transfer of energy and increased acceleration of the beater. Tama has completely redeveloped this pedal, so they didn't make a direct drive from an existing pedal. In doing so, extra attention has been paid to what the professional drummer wants and needs from a direct drive pedal.
