The T-audio MP-101 is a professional Internet radio, tuner and Media Player. This media player also features USB connection, LAN, WiFi connection, Remote App and RS232. In addition, the MP-101 features Bluetooth and Spotify Connect. The MP-101 is a 19" model internet radio for easy mounting in a 19" rack (1HE).
Versatile music source
The T-audio MP-101 internet radio has access to more than 20,000 stations, has the ability to re-listen to broadcasts and podcasts, and can remember ten presets. To easily play MP3, AAC(+), WMA, WAV or FLAC music files, the radio needs a connection to a USB stick or hard drive. It can also connect to a computer via the local network for this purpose. Universal Plug & Play media sharing allows devices to play music from a shared media library and navigate tag menus such as artist, album and genre. DAB/DAB+ offers digital radio with a wide selection of channels and digital broadcasts. This feature can also memorize 10 preset stations. The FM function, with Radio Data System (RDS), also has the ability to memorize ten preset stations. Furthermore, the Internet radio features Bluetooth, Remote APP and an Aux input for external music sources, such as MP3 players. Spotify Connect makes it easier than ever to stream music this way as well.
Easy to use
T-audio's internet radio features multiple network profiles for easy installation in any application and for use in any industry. When started for the first time, it is guided through an installation wizard to configure settings for date and time and network. Once this is complete, the system is ready for use in most modes.
The front panel buttons allow easy operation of the MP-101 Internet radio. A large 2.7-inch LCD screen allows for easy navigation. The LCD screen provides clear information display with six lines of text and understandable status icons. Settings can be adjusted in the various menus. For each (in)successful adjustment or error, a message is displayed for a few seconds. Different music sources and several functions can be selected via the main menu. The standby mode displays time and date and any active alarm times. Multiple independent alarms can be set simultaneously. The clock function on the MP-101 also features a sleep/sleep mode: during playback, the Internet radio goes into standby after the set time. Conversely, the radio can also be turned on at a set time from standby, complete with snooze capability.
During radio and/or music playback, information can be displayed on the screen such as the date, signal reliability, a playback buffer, audio source, radio station, artist, song title and genre. The menu can be displayed in as many as thirteen different languages: Danish, German, English, Finnish, French, Italian, Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish and Swedish. Requirements for using all functions
The Internet radio and network music player functions require a wired (broadband Ethernet) or wireless (WiFi) network. The music player function requires the MP-101 to access a music library stored on the network or on a USB mass storage device. An external audio source is required for Aux in mode. The MP-101 Internet radio comes with a 2.4G antenna, an FM antenna wire, an AV wire, a power cord and a remote control. The infrared remote control operates similarly to the buttons on the front of the radio itself. The following connectors are present on the radio: Ethernet (RJ45), audio out, headphone out, line in and line out.
