A multi-phaser, of course it's quite specific, but fair is fair; when Strymon puts their mind to it the result is fantastic. Therefore; if you are a phaser freak -or not necessarily so- and you are looking for the fattest phaser on the planet, then the Zelzah is the way to go!
The Zelzah gives you an unprecedented versatility of phaser sounds, from vintage, articulate "swoosh" to drawling, dreamy filter sounds and all with an unprecedented user interface that allows the effect to be fine-tuned - yet simple - to adjust.

The left half of Zelzah is a classic 4-stage phaser with the familiar Speed, Depth and Mix parameters, giving you fat old-school phaser sounds (70's Maestro / Moog). But if you choose as sweep setting "ENV", then the phaser works on touch sensitivity and that gives a crazy vocal effect.
The right half is a 6-stage phaser and the Voice parameter is interesting because it allows you, in addition to filtering, a degree of time delay to add to the feedback loop. A function that actually does not quite belong to a phaser, but to a flanger. And that's what makes this right half so interesting, because the result is that with the Zelzah you can also enter the spectrum of flangers and harmonic vibrato's.
And as Strymon itself puts it; "What's better than one phaser? Two!" We couldn't agree more, but point being; both these "phaser halves" can be controlled and switched independently. With the Zelzah you have not just one, but two unique phasers at your disposal.
As icing on the cake the Zelzah is fully stereo, so stereo in (switchable) and out and that makes this pedal also fantastic for keyboardists.
Included is the 9vDC power supply.
