Strymon Flint V2 gives you the soothing, hypnotic tremolo effect of 1960s vintage tube amps. Plus, you get three classic and completely unique classic reverbs! This new version has a pre-delay and some improvements.
Inside this pedal is a complex '61 Harmonic Tremolo, a swampy and sultry '63 Power Tube Tremolo and a sharp and balanced '65 Photocell Tremolo. It also includes a classic '60s Spring Tank Reverb, a '70s Electronic Plate Reverb and a nostalgic '80s Hall Rack Reverb.
The pedal has no less than eight tweakable parameters that give you extensive control over the two effects. This pedal has both splashy, pulsating twang sounds and throbbing, swampy blues, all the way to ambient, trembling and serene reverb pads.
This new version has full MIDI control, including MIDI clock synchronization and access to 300 presets via MIDI. It includes a USB-C connection for MIDI-over-USB and firmware updates, allowing bidirectional MIDI communication with a single cable using Strymon's Conduit interface. There is also free editor/librarian support via USB connectivity. The editor/librarian software will be launched in August 2022.
The pedal has full stereo inputs and a MONO/STEREO input switch on the back of the unit; a great improvement and much more convenient than having to take the pedal apart to change the internal physical sweater position as on the original. There are also better preamps on it and the processor has also received an upgrade.
The pedal is further True Bypass, but you can also opt for the 'Trails' Buffered Bypass function.
Included is the 9vDC power adapter
