It is admirable how Spector is able to cover all markets with a single model -the NS bass. And that's true across genres as well as price ranges. This NS Dimension is a perfect example of this with a brilliant foray into a multiscale variant of the NS that will especially delight the heavy player!

The NS Dimension series basses are built in South Korea according to meticulous guidelines, instructions and commissioned by Spector USA. And make no mistake; this is a true "working-man's boutique guitar" built with premium materials and hi-end specifications.
For example, this Dimension bass has the iconic Spector curved body with a neck-thru construction. The body thus has a 3-piece center-piece of three parts maple. The curved wings of the body are made of alder and the entire bass is sleekly finished in a futuristic Gunmetal Gloss finish. The neck features an ebony fingerboard with luminlay side dots and the headstock is matching the poplar burl body. With its distinct look and recipe of chosen materials, this is a bass that shines in heavy music; everything is configured for an aggressive but particularly rich and defined tone. Exactly what you want when you play fast, a lot, low and/or with distortion.

And of course the multiscale plays an important role in that. With a gradient from 34" to 37" on this 5-string version, you have an optimal string tension to deal with for the best definition and rich overtones.
Spector equipped this Dimension with an EMG45DC humbucker set with a Darkglass Tone Capsule. The controls operate master volume, pickup blend, bass, mid and hi mid.
