Sonor is finally back on the market with a glorious entry level set, the AQX; a high quality and complete drum set in its class (drum kit, hardware and cymbals) with which Sonor can once again compete with the other big brands.
The AQX has poplar shells and is available in a variaty of configurations, but Sonor wouldn't be Sonor if they didn't add a little more finesse, solidity and a higher level of finishing. And that level of quality can be seen and heard! To quote Sonor; "Your journey starts here". Perhaps not with the cheapest set on the market, but certainly the best on the market!
In addition to a common "stage" and "studio" configurations, which come complete with hardware and cymbals, the AQX package also includes a number of cool, compact shell kits.
This studio kit includes a shell configuration of a:
-20x16" bass drum, with mount
-10x7" tom
-12x8" tom
-14x13" floortom
-14x5.5" snare drum
Also included are the Sonor HS1000 hardware pack (snare stand, hi hat stand, bass drum pedal, cymbal stand & cymbal boom stand) and B8 cymbal set (14" hi hat, 20" ride & 16" crash).
Because of the relatively small kickdrum size (20" instead of 22" with the stage set) this set is also very suitable for younger starters.
A drum stool is not included and can be purchased as an option.
