The Marcus Miller Z7 5-string bass guitar is a nod to the past to the recognizable sound of the late 1970s, with the gritty, aggressive bite of an all-time low-end classic: The Stingray!
Starting with a lightweight mahogany body in a balanced Z-Bass shape, the Z7 has an array of vintage-inspired features, including an egg-shaped pickguard, curved control plate, oversized bridge position humbucker and rock-solid Standard MM bridge. And as an add-on to the Z3, the Z7 has a single coil in the neck position and a pickup blend control. The C-profile hard maple neck offers a fast and extremely comfortable feel. Meanwhile, the matching hard maple fingerboard with Edgeless (rounded fingerboard) treatment, 12-inch radius and 22 medium-jumbo frets provide a suitable foundation for all types of players.
You also get an active Marcus Heritage-3 pre-amp system, complete with a 3-band EQ for precise tonal precision. Whether you're a dedicated slapper or just looking for a rock-solid all-rounder for your next gig, the Sire Marcus Miller Z7 is ready to take the stage!
