The Korean company Sire has made a lot of fame in a short time. And not only because they have managed to get none other than Marcus Miller inseparably attached to them. That's nice, but if the instruments weren't up to par, also inconsequential. And that's precisely where sire "nailed it"; these basses are awesome! At this price point, really a no-brainer. The sound is bold and very recognizable; a treat for the lover of traditional J and P sounds. The design choices (color choice, shape of the headstock) are just as distinctive and the finish is excellent.
