Sequential has applied their signature expertise to bring their iconic sound quality to an innovative 6-voice synthesizer: the Sequential Trigon-6. Loaded with three discrete VCOs per voice, the polyphonic performance is rich and distinctive, enhanced by the newly redesigned version of the ladder filter originally created for the Pro 3. Versatile control over waveform parameters, low-pass filter, LFO and envelope generator allow for extensive aural exploration, enhanced by a robust set of destination and sync choices, as well as powerful poly mod tools. Classic voicing, modern control
Built on the foundation of Sequential's famous 3oscillator ladder filter sound, the Trigon-6 complements rich voicing with six voices of powerful polyphony. Mix distinctive sounds with simultaneously selectable waveforms on each of the three VCOs per voice, with triangle, sawtooth and reverse sawtooth options, refined and personalized through pulse width modulation for each oscillator. Feedback and drive controls can be used to tune saturation for each oscillator, while hard sync connects VCOs one and two, and keyboard tracking can be switched for VCO three. An additional source of white noise and toggle-enabled keyboard pitch tracking broaden the range even further; a vintage knob lets you set the voice-to-voice variance of vintage synths, allowing you to create a sound as personal as it is quintessentially Sequential.
Superior sonic design
Sequential gives you extensive control over your Trigon-6 sounds. A flexible lowpass filter can be quickly switched between 2- and 4-pole modes, with discrete, resonant, lowpass and ladder options available per voice. Bipolar envelope values can be used in conjunction with velocity modulation, while you can control the filter in self-oscillation with the resonant controls. The 4-stage ADSR envelope generators can be modulated for both amplifier and filter envelopes.
More modulation
Create enticing, reactive patches using the Trigon's fat LFO, which has five waveforms, including a sample- and hold-based random mode. Eight targets include frequency and pulse width values for each oscillator, as well as filter cutoff and VCA figures. Pair this with the versatile Polymod, which sends bipolar values from your VCO three and filter envelope to a choice of seven destinations. A spring-loaded pitch wheel has a selectable range between one and 12 semitones, coupled with a dynamic aftertouch that lets you select destinations simultaneously, including both FX mixes.
