Sequential Prophet 10

Revenge of the Synth

In total, this synth has about ten voices, with each voice having two oscillators and a noise generator. Also, a filter with ADSR and a general/volume ADSR. Did you know, the original P5 came out in the late 1970s, the P10 a little later, and both synths were real monsters. Then not only in terms of capabilities, but also in terms of support. All the big names had a Prophet 5. However, the Prophet 10 is extremely rare, the chance of running into an original one is virtually zero. At the time, the synth had many problems with the power supply and it tuned quickly. Visually, the "old" P10 was a real gem, if only because of its appearance with two keyboards. In terms of operation, this synth is super clear; no complicated fuss.

Cool feature

This Prophet 10 has a nice playing Fatar keyboard with touch sensitive and aftertouch. There is of course MIDI and USB-MIDI. Also be sure to check out the "vintage dial," which lets you add "the unstable character of yesteryear" to your sound. This Prophet 10 is a gem to behold; fair is fair. The synth isn't cheap.
