Sturdy, compact and versatile for great video sound: the Sennheiser MKE 400 is a small shot gun microphone for cameras with a shoe mount point and an external microphone input.
You'll immediately hear the quality difference from your phone's built-in microphone. Additional adjustment options such as level and the low-cut filter ensure that you can make great recordings in almost any situation. Because the MKE 400 also has a headphone output with independent volume control, you can listen in right away. With the included mini jack cable you connect the microphone to the microphone input of your camera. A TRRS to TRS cable is also included so you can connect the MKE 400 mkII to your smartphone, tablet or laptop as well.
This compact shotgun microphone easily attaches to your DSLR camera and it picks up where you point the camera. That's because the MKE 400 mkII has a supercardioid directional characteristic. As a result, the microphone picks up very little ambient noise.
