The Roland VC-1-DMX is a light show generator for your screen and audio, and it does exactly what you think it does now. It generates a light show based on what you see on your screen or television. And not like the ambilight that just gives off a glow. No a full-blown light show, just check out the video below.
The VC-1-DMX also analyzes sound information received through the HDMI and analog audio inputs. This lets you add flash effects to the beat, adjust the rotation speed of a mirror ball or other device to match the music tempo, or automatically turn off the lights when there is no sound.
During live music performances, the VC-1-DMX and house lighting system can be connected to MIDI devices such as keyboards, electronic drums and DJ controllers.
Based on a number of parameters, this device measures what is seen on your screen via HDMI or played via MIDI and translates this into a light frequency. This ensures that the lights, previously installed by you, create a light show on the wall that matches what is seen on your screen.
This compact device has inputs for HDMI, MIDI and audio.
