The TD-27KV2 delivers the immersive sound and response you only get through V-Drums. With the powerful new TD-27 sound generator at its heart, this drum kit is five-piece and includes a snare, three toms, a hi-hat pad, two crash pads, a ride pad and kick drum. The pads and cymbals are quite large in size, which helps with creating a realistic playing feel.
The updated TD27 soundmodule offers even more sounds, parameter-control and pre-programmed drum sets. The hardware that comes with the TD27KV kit has been upgraded as well and now features the all new ultra thin "slim-profile" cymbals for an even more realistic drumming experience. And finaly, we've been waiting for this feature for a while now; besides the digitale 18" ride cymbal and 14" snare trigger, the V2 version of the TD27KV now has the digital 14" VH14-D hi hat trigger as well.
For those who own a V-drums kit that includes a TD27 MK1 module, not to worry; the MK1 modules can be updated for free to include all the new MK2 features. After this update, the optional VH14-D hi hat trigger can be used with and MK1 module as well.
