Need help? Our product experts are happy to help you!

The Roland TD-17KVX2 is a digital drum kit. This new V2 version features refined pads, an updated sound engine and a whole new set of top-quality kits. The TD-17 sound module serves as the heart of the TD-17KVX2, loaded with fresh new kits and improved effects. You can import your own sounds to create your own custom kits, or even borrow some studio-quality artist signature kits by connecting to the powerful Roland Cloud library

The pads are a combination of old classics and cutting-edge new designs, featuring thin CY-12C-T and CY-14R-T cymbals, a tried-and-true PDX-12 snare, three dual-trigger PDX-8 toms, an expressive VH-10 hi-hat pad, and a rock-solid KD-10 kick! You also get Roland's MDS compact drum stand, so you're ready to play right away.

Please note that this electronic drum kit comes standard without hi-hat stand and bass drum pedal.

A library of studio-quality kits
No matter what style you're looking for, the TD-17's updated range of 70 high-quality kits means you'll always be right! The second generation of the TD-17 features an updated sound engine, in addition to 20 brand-new preset kits - half of which were only available on the top-of-the-line VAD-306. In addition, these kits include 26 built-in samples that can be added to your own kits, offering a whole new level of percussion personalization. From metal blast beats to EDM grooves to dry recording kits, the TD-17 is packed with versatile sounds for every genre, and you can even upload your own sounds as WAV files via SD/HC card to put together the kit of your dreams. Plus, any sound can be refined with the TD-17's impressive processing and effects engine, featuring snare tension, compression, EQ, reverb and many more sonic sculpting tools.

Bluetooth MIDI and song streaming
The TD-17 module's built-in Bluetooth transceiver is sure to enhance your practice and recording sessions. Music can be streamed directly from your device to the module, allowing you to practice with your favorite grooves and fills. And if you're in a creative mood, the TD-17's Bluetooth feature also lets you send your beats wirelessly as MIDI notes, so you can capture your inspiration for later. Finally, audio/MIDI over USB and a standard 5-pin MIDI output are available for musicians who prefer the old-fashioned reliability of a cable connection.

Enhanced Roland Cloud support
Looking for fresh new sounds? Thanks to the second-generation TD-17's enhanced Roland Cloud integration, it's a breeze to expand your sound module with Roland's extensive library of studio-quality sounds and samples. Even better, Roland Cloud gives you access to a host of signature artist kits, putting the sonic power of the world's best drummers in your hands! The drum specialists at Klundert Music agree: this percussion kit gives you the most "bang for the bucks"!
