The Roland SH-01A is an accurate reproduction of one of the most iconic synths of all time; the Roland SH-101. Thanks to Analog Circuit Behavior (ACB) technology, this synth reproduces all the legendary sounds as if they came from the SH-101 itself. In fact, the imperfect little details and oddities of this synth made its sound so iconic.
But this synthesizer goes further. In addition to the great sounds of the original, there are a host of new creative possibilities, a more compact size, new polyphonic possibilities and new performance features. In addition to the standard monophonic mode, three more modes have been added: unison, chord and four-part polyphonic, allowing the SH-01A to produce four times the number of different sounds than the original.
What makes this device so special is the built-in sequencer that allows you to create all kinds of wild and original sequences after playing in a basic shape the synth itself. The controls allow you to shape the sound of these in real time so you can play for hours at home but also give performances with the analog techno feel.
