The Roland FD-8 hihat controller allows you to hear the difference between an open and closed hihat with, a smooth and stepless transition. Connect the FD-8 to the hihat control input of, for example, your Roland drum module (TD series, SPD-S, SPD-20 and HPD-15). The angle of the plate and the tension are freely adjustable.
