The Rode NTR is a ribbon microphone that accurately captures your voice with clarity and detail and offers good high-frequency reproduction. This allows you to record sources for which you would normally use a more sensitive microphone.
This microphone can also be used in professional recording studios and concert halls but the home studio is where this microphone will excel the most. The NTR has one of the very thinnest ribbon elements, only 1.8 microns thick thanks to cutting with lazers. This prevents fraying at the edges and gives the microphone a longer lifespan, here the internal shockmount also cooperates. Good thing!
