The Alpha Theta DDJ-FLX2 is a compact, all-in-one 2-deck DJ controller. It is the successor to the DDJ-200, however now equipped with a built-in audio interface. The DDJ-FLX2 is the perfect choice for beginners who want to discover the world of DJing or those looking for a very compact DJ controller. The controller is compatible with numerous streaming and DJ apps, from smartphones, tablets and laptops to rekordbox Algoriddim djay, Apple Music and more via USB-C and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connections. Smart tools and controls for effects and faders are complemented by dynamic performance pads and flexible interface options for monitoring and streaming.
Mobile devices must have USB-C, other USB ports are not compatible but in that case you can use Bluetooth connectivity.

The popularity of streaming services for DJs is unprecedented. On the one hand, the nearly unlimited styles and sounds of musicians around the world have never been more accessible. On the other hand, this accessibility means that you have many more places to discover rough diamonds and seek out club hits, increasing the demand for compatibility. Fortunately, AlphaTheta has designed the DDJ-FLX2 to work with almost any configuration, including smartphones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers running Mac or PC operating systems. Moreover, the DDJ-FLX2 is compatible with multiple streaming platforms: Apple Music, Beatport Streaming, Beatsource Streaming, SoundCloud Go+, SoundCloud DJ and Tidal.
Please note that as of release, the DDJ-FLX2 does not (yet) support Beatport Streaming via Android mobile devices; Beatsource Streaming for iOS or Android mobile devices; Serato DJ Lite on Mac/PC; or Apple Music via rekordbox on Mac, PC, iOS or Android devices.
Top performance and smart controls
Thanks to a series of Smart controls carefully designed by AlphaTheta, you can create the fattest mixes. For example, the Smart CFX and Smart Fader functions allow you to effortlessly create professional transitions and effects in your mix. With just a turn of a knob, Smart CFX captures the complex, detailed techniques used by your favorite DJs. Smart Fader is an all-in-one transition tool, with a mix of volume, tempo and bass controls to mix tracks regardless of tempo differences. Just press the crossfader and let DDJ-FLX2 do the work!
Light, compact and easy to use
The DDJ-FLX2 is AlphaTheta's lightest and most compact DJ controller, so you can easily take it anywhere. It runs on USB bus power, so you don't need an external power source when you connect it to a PC/Mac or a mobile device via USB Type C (except certain Android devices). You can easily start DJing by playing music through the built-in speakers of your PC, Mac or mobile device, or connect speakers to the DDJ-FLX2's audio outputs to throw a solid party with friends. Want to take your skills further? Use headphones to set cue points and challenge yourself to learn different DJ techniques.
More than a DJ deck
The jog wheels of the DDJ-FLX2 provide enough grip to set even the finest effects with ease, but this controller's mixing capabilities go beyond these dynamic decks. Enter Pad mode, for example: sixteen performance pads on the controller expand your performance with all sorts of creative possibilities. Using hot cues, for example, you can mark any point on a track, bookmark it and jump directly to it at any time, while Pad FX allows you to implement a wide range of effects by pressing a pad to personalize your sets even further. There's also Sampler mode that lets you play samples, sounds, one-shots and even drums.
Plug-and-play
Thanks to its lightweight design and compact all-in-one form factor, the DDJ-FLX2 is ready to use whenever you want. Compatibility goes beyond devices, operating systems and sound sources. The USB-C port does double duty for both bus power and source connections, so you can DJ virtually anywhere, anytime. Plus, the two audio outputs let you independently adjust a master signal and a headphone signal. If you use the unit with a mobile device that does not have a USB Type C port, connect via Bluetooth.
