Eneloop batteries are rechargeable batteries with low self-discharge. In the January 2023 Consumer Guide, the Panasonic Eneloop Pro came out as "Best in Test."
Also known as AA, HR6, penlite, mignon, Eneloop was always released under the Sanyo brand, Panasonic acquired Sanyo.
Now Sanyo Eneloop batteries are sold as Panasonic Eneloop. The quality is exactly the same since they are produced in the same factory.
For devices that use a lot of energy, the Eneloop Pro batteries have been developed. The Eneloop Pro batteries can be recharged less often than the standard Eneloop batteries, but have a higher capacity (mAh) which means you will get longer use out of the batteries before they need to be recharged.
- Minimal: 2500 mAh
- Typical: 2550 mAh
- Number of recharges: 500x
- The Panasonic Eneloop Pro is the successor to the Sanyo Eneloop XX.
