The Meinl Byzance Equilibrium Ride was developed in collaboration with Matt Garstka (Animals as Leaders), one of the most progressive progressive progressive metal drummers of our time.
This signature ride has a cutting bell that works well within heavier music, a bright stick-attack with pleasant overtones that lends itself well to jazzy patterns and a crash-ability that doesn't get in the way of the previous two features.
"We took our time with it and I'm happy with that," Garstka said. "We came up with something that has a great spread, is fully balanced and has the full expressive range that I look for in a ride."
