The LD Systems ICOA SUB 15 A is a 15-inch active subwoofer. The music will really groove when you feel the bass in your body. The ICOA SUB can deliver as much bass as you want - to get people rocking and luring them to the dance floor. It can even give a multimedia presentation that special oomph needed to reach the audience.
The ICOA SUB produces serious bass and gives you a wider soundstage and therefore a clearer sound. This is because your subwoofer relieves the top cabinet, whose woofers are now less stressed by high-energy bass impulses, resulting in less intermodulation distortion. Even at higher volumes, the sound is not muffled. Voices and instruments remain crystal clear.
Thanks to the powerful Class D amplifier with 400 watts RMS (1600 watts peak), you have serious power at your disposal. With presets from the integrated DynX DSP - which offers crossover frequencies of 80, 100 and 120 Hz - you can perfectly tune the ICOA SUB to your system. Signal polarity can also be reversed, and the SUB offers a delay preset for distances up to 10 meters.
When your needs begin to expand as the rooms get bigger, the system can grow with you. Just add more ICOA SUBs, which can operate in parallel, to give you more and more power. You can also take advantage of the cardioid preset. Just place the additional subwoofers next to your ICOA SUB facing backwards and activate the cardioid-preset to get a quieter and controlled low-end at the rear while still retaining the punch at the front.
The rugged enclosures made of 18 mm laminated wood can be stacked, while the M20 threaded top allows you to mount a top cabinet using a spacer pole. Transportation is simplified by mounting casters on the back (optional). Corner guards guard the edges during setup. To prevent the ICOA SUB from slipping out of your hands, the four aluminum handles are covered with rubber.
