The LD Systems HPA 1 is a headphone amplifier for stage, studio and home recording and is the perfect solution for wired in-ear monitoring. The compact unit has a robust, ergonomically shaped plastic housing with soft-touch surface and practical belt clip.
In addition to lockable XLR jacks for the stereo signal L/R input, the HPA 1 has a balanced 3.5 mm2 stereo jack as an AUX input, which can be used in parallel for clicks or playback. It is protected against excessive input levels. You can easily connect a power adapter to the HPA1.
A 3.5 mm2 stereo mini-jack is provided as a headphone output for your in-ears. Volume level and balance can be adjusted with easy-to-use knobs, a push button switches between summed mono and stereo signals. A full-fledged limiter is integrated for distortion-free playback and protection of your hearing.
The LD Systems HPA 1 has two-color LEDs for easy overview, displaying limiter response during peaks and battery status. The headphone amplifier is lightweight at 165 grams and can operate for up to 12 hours thanks to a 9V block battery.
