Korg's 1980s Mono/Poly analog synthesizer has achieved legendary status among synth connoisseurs. Its unique paraphonic architecture with four stacked oscillators allowed what was essentially a mono synthesizer to create fat, overtone-rich sounds that rivaled many polysynthesizers of the era. As vintage Mono/Polys become increasingly rare, you might long for a chance to own one of these coveted synths. Inspired by the classic Mono/Poly, the Korg Multi/Poly synthesizer uses advanced analog modeling technology to deliver the big, multi-dimensional sounds that its pioneered predecessor had - and much (much) more!

Inspired by a legend
Sorry for the nerd-talk! The original Mono/Poly had special experimental features such as round-robin oscillator triggering and flexible x-mod and sync routing. This clever technology gave the compact, easy-to-use Mono/Poly sonic capabilities previously only achievable in massive modular synths. Offering an affordable entry into the world of limitless sound design, the Korg Multi/Poly delivers the power of a polyphonic modular system in a modern analog modeling synth. Well built, the synth features a compact chassis with 37 full-sized, semi-weighted keys and an overwhelming abundance of hands-on controls with classic wooden sides.

Pushing Sonic Boundaries
The Multi/Poly is the first Korg synth to use a new generation of analog modeling technology and makes it easy to create stunning mashups with sonic elements from classic analog synthesis. Roll up your sleeves and dive into a veritable playground of classic analog, digital wavetable and wave-shaper oscillators and a wide selection of advanced modeled filters. Shape your sounds with modeled envelopes, VCAs and portamento circuits. Add organic sound variation with virtual voicing maps. You can spice things up with Layer Rotate, which activates new programs every time you press a key. Modern analog modeling allows you to model virtually any existing technology to achieve an unlimited range of sounds.

Korg Multi/Poly synthesizer features:

  • compact analog modeling synthesizer
  • 37 full-sized semi-weighted keys
  • classically modeled analog, digital wavetable and wave-shaper oscillators
  • Next-gen modeled filters, modeled portamento, modeled envelopes and modeled VCAs
  • 4 oscillators, a noise generator, dual filters and 3 insertion effects
  • 4 looping DAHDSR envelopes, 5 LFOs, 6 Mod Processors

  • Layer 4 programs simultaneously, add master reverb and EQ, 2 Mod Processors and Kaoss Physics
  • Layer Rotate activates new programs each time a key is pressed
  • Motion Sequencing 2.0 runs individual sequences for each voice
  • Timing, Pitch, Shape and 4 sets of Step Sequence values are separated into lanes
  • smooth sound transitions make voices and effects sound natural after you change sounds
  • maximum polyphony: 60 voices (depending on settings)
  • Controllers: Mod Wheel, Pitch Wheel, Kaoss Physics, 4 Mod Knobs
  • Pre-FX: Decimator, graphic EQ, guitar amp, modern compressor, parametric EQ, red compressor, ring modulator, tremolo, wave shaper, vintage distortion
