We've been a proud and dedicated dealer for our friends @ Holy Cow Guitarstraps for years now! It's a unique vintage strap and fully handmade in The Netherlands. And they're all gorgeous with the level of mojo going through the roof!
All fabrics used are real vintage (mostly 50's, 60's and 70's), intensively searched for and found in small batches of "new old stock" material in old fabric shop and warehouses. Due to this, 95% of straps are one-off in our collection as Holy Cow can make only a handful of the same straps from one fabric. The leather for the end-taps is hand selected and hand cut as well. The fibers, velvets, patterns and the way they're woven just many years ago just goes hand in hand with the look of a guitar and the old-school finishes we all still love.
The base for the strap is either seatbelt or thickly woven linen. Either way; heavy duty, durable and comfortable. Note that you might have to widen the slit in the end tap a little to fit the strap button. Holy Cow keeps the holes in the end-tap narrow to prevent the strap from slipping off your guitar when the leather gets flexible throughout time.
