The HK Audio Polar 12 is an active PA system and is the model with a 12-inch subwoofer. The Polar 12 is the most powerful system in the Polar series. The Polar 12 offers great sound quality with easy operation in a compact enclosure. The system is easy to transport and very user-friendly. Ideal for larger spaces such as party rooms. From experience we know that in combination with a keyboard, synthesizer or stage piano this speaker comes into its own. Another unique feature of this model is that two copies can form a full wireless stereo system via Bluetooth TWS. In this popular Polar series, HK Audio is also developing smaller versions, the Polar 8 and Polar 10 (so with an 8- or 10-inch subwoofer).
Powerful and versatile system
Despite its compact size, the HK Audio Polar 12 is a powerful 2000-watt system. The system consists of a 12-inch subwoofer and a column element containing the mid/high unit with six 3-inch speakers and a 1-inch HF compression driver. The high-quality components used by HK Audio provide an exceptionally transparent and natural sound with deep bass and clear treble. The 120-degree dispersion angle provides wide coverage of high-quality sound and even often eliminates the need for an additional monitor on stages. With the help of the accompanying spacer, the audio system can be adjusted to different heights. Due to its 12-inch woofer, this Polar 12 has a more powerful, fuller bass than the Polar 10.
Ideal for mobile use
The HK Audio Polar 12 features magnetic mounting system. This allows you to effortlessly slide the three components together in one smooth motion without having to use cables. In addition, the three compact parts are easy and safe to transport/storage using two included carrying bags.
Built-in mixer
There is a 4-channel built-in mixer in the PA system that provides enough options for a wide range of applications including two channels for microphone or line signal, a Hi-Z jack for high-impedance instruments (guitars) and an aux channel for connecting external equipment. The speaker also features a Bluetooth channel that allows wireless audio streaming from a smartphone or tablet, for example. Everything works extremely user-friendly (plus point!) and the overall volume can be controlled with a separate master controller or tuned with the built-in equalizer. The 24-bit DSP processes sound in true High-Definition, resulting in an optimized frequency response and extremely low sound distortion. Three EQ presets: Music, Voice and DJ, allow quick switching between applications.
Difference Polar 12 vs. other column systems
Column systems have a reputation for not reproducing low mid-range sounds well enough. As a result, they quickly lack the powerful kick or full low synth sounds that you want to maximize for an optimal sound experience. This is not the case with the HK Audio Polar 12, as it is equipped with a powerful 12" woofer and no less than 6 mid-range drivers with neodymium magnets with powerful low mid-range frequencies.
