This Heil Sound PR 37 is a new addition to the evolution of Heil Sound dynamic microphones. This PR37 delivers an ultra-clear and transparent sound that cuts through any complex mix, ensuring your vocals always stand out nicely from the mix.
The microphone has a 1.5-inch diaphragm and an internal shockmount that ensures no contact noise is transmitted to the diaphragm. Consideration has also been given to the plug assembly and, in particular, the phase. Specifically, this means that unwanted audio (noise, ambient noise) is placed out of phase and thus you are almost not affected by it. This effectively results in rejection of unwanted noise by as much as -40 dB. Ideal for live sound, as this microphone sings around much less.
The microphone is great for vocals and speech and has a nice, neutral frequency response. Perfect for critical live-sound applications. Solidly built and can take a beating.
