The Hammond SK pro series has become a wildly popular stage keyboard that makes many musicians incredibly happy. With the SK series, Hammond has really done their best to build a fantastic all-round stage keyboard with all the sounds your heart desires, but without compromising on that real authentic Hammond sound.
True Hammond
Even though this is a stage keyboard, it is and always will be a real Hammond and you can see that very well in the extensive organ section. Nine drawbars with four different organ models give you all the organ sounds you really need. This combined with the Leslie modeller with the stop, fast, portamento and bypass options we are used to nowadays. It is also possible to link the pedal to the low keys of your keyboard, there is a split function for high and low register and you can even enable the 3 part organ to split the keyboard to high register, low register and pedal. Not to mention of course a fat drive and authentic chorus and vibrato.Piano
Of course, what makes the SK series so unique are the other instruments we can now play with this Hammond. The piano section is decked out with acoustic pianos, E. pianos, harpsichords, harpsichords, chormatic percussion and other keys. Many people are especially fond of the Rhode's-like sounds.Ensemble
For ensemble sounds, the SK Pro is also a very nice instrument. With a large amount of winds, strings, choir, synth pads, basses and others, you have more than enough sounds to choose from. Again, Hammond has done their best to keep it as accessible as possible resulting in it often being as simple as picking a sound and playing!Synth
Finally, the SK Pro got an extensive synth section with some really nice waveforms and enough control over the sound engine to create really fat sounds. From LFO, portamento, filters, pitch, depth to envelopes also the synth lovers can really get their teeth into this Hammond SK Pro.Easy to use
Of course, with all these options, the SK Pro is a slightly more complicated instrument than we might be used to from Hammond. Still, they have managed to lay out this keyboard as intuitively as possible. The color LED screen always makes it very clear what you are doing and what your options are within your settings. Then store your sounds within one of the 10 preset slots or create entire banks for specific gigs or sessions. This way you have all the sounds you need right under your fingers and don't have to dive into menus at home, live or in the studio.Specifications:
