The Furman PS-8R E III is a power conditioner and sequencer, with a maximum load of 10 A. The integrated inrush delay has 3 time-offsets for 2 outputs each, which is activated by a central switch on the front.
The sequencer can also be controlled remotely, e.g. with a push button or a switching contact. The Furman PS-8R E III offers a total of 8x 230V IEC connections at the rear and 1x at the front.
Series Mode Protection (SMP):
The revolutionary SMP (Series Mode Protection) circuit and exclusive Linear Filtering Technology (LiFT- LinearFilteringTechnology) provide earth-friendly noise attenuation (10 dB @ 10 kHz, 40 db @ 100 kHz, 100 dB @ 10 MHz), The multi-stage SMP overload protection saves costly downtime and service. While other overload protection circuits sacrifice themselves when exposed to multiple transient voltage spikes, the Furman SMP circuit operates maintenance-free. Transients are detected and effectively diverted. Furman's reliable EVS circuit provides protection against continuous overvoltage conditions. For this purpose, the input current is monitored and, in the event of an unsafe condition, a relay is activated that shuts off the input current until the overvoltage condition is removed.
For an optional gooseneck lamp (12 V, 0.5 A), an additional integrated BNC connector at the rear of the device can be used. If necessary, it can then be switched from the front. The complete device is in a 19" housing with only one height unit and requires a maximum installation depth of 27 cm.
