The BC112 Pro bass combo is ready to rumble any venue any time but very well tamable for home playing and practicing as well. This compact 1x12" combo provides 500 watt to it's internal 12" Eich ceramic custom design speaker which has an impedance of 4 ohm. With a weight of just 14.1 kg's and a size of 44x45x35 cm the BC112 Pro is a true powerhouse of a combo.
The amp incorporated is an Eich T500. At first glance, you'll find most common controls like input gain, 4-way tone control and master volume. A unique feature is "Taste" which operates as an extremely wide-range tone control that sets the overall character of the amp by mixing between a modern, mid-scooped sound and a darker, vintage bass sound; your journey of tone starts here. Once you've dailed-in your preference of character, you can start fine tuning it with the 4-way EQ. Bass, Low Mid and Hi Mid are super sensitive; the slightest change in settings are audible. The Hi control is centred at 8kHz and should be used to emphasize the high frequency details of your picking, slapping and plucking. So in contrast to the other three tone-controls, the Hi-control is subtle, especially with passive basses. Please don't misunderstand; these amps do not LACK any hi-end frequencies! On the contrary; the sound of Eich amps is extremely well balanced and in place, especially in a band situation.
Besided the 12" woofer, the BC112 Pro combo is fitted with a 4" switchable tweeter as well and can be extended with any 8 ohm cabinet. A nice and very smart feature is the tilt-back leg that cleverly hides underneath the amp and can be mounted into a flange located in the rear bassport.
Standard on all Eich T-series amps are a high quality, transformer balanced DI, mute switch, tuner output and FX loop. The headphones output and line input make these amps perfect for silent home practice. All Eich amps feature a switchable main input voltage switchable from 115 vAC to 230 vAC so you can pretty much operate your Eich amp anywhere in the world with a flick of a switch. Optional is the heavy duty cover.
