An ES335 style guitar at this price point? Seems to good to be true, we know, but trust us; we've compared them to guitars priced x 2 or 3 and this Eastman matches up allright...The T486B is an variation of the T486. Obviously, it has a Bigsby installed. Not as obvious but a very significant difference to the regular T486, the B version is fitted with Seymour Duncan Phat Cat P90's (P90 sized to fit in the regular humbucker sized cavities, so you can retro-fit any humbucker pickup in there too!)
Apart from this it has the same specs as you'll find on the T486; a maple laminate body, a maple neck with ebony fingerboard and. Pretty straight forward stuff, but the details are stunning; flamed maple outer ply on the top, split parallelogram block inlays, ivory bound neck, body and f-holes. For optimal resonance of the tonewood, the T486B is finished with True Tone laquer; a very thin and acoustically transparant coat on poly urethane basis which was developed by the prestiques company of Bourgeous Guitars.
Comes including the original hardcase and documents.
