This versatile guitar neatly bridges the gap between a beautiful hollow body archtop and the classic center block thinline. However, what sets the T185MX apart from other "335" style instruments is its partial sustain block. While most other double cutaway thinlines have a full-length internal block, Eastman has opted for a block just below the bridge and stud tailpiece. This allows much more of the hollowbody tone to be heard, but handles feedback extremely well.
