Dingwall's "Ready to Play" collection (made in China, assembled and completed in Canada) features three models; the Combustion, Combustion NG and D-Roc. The Combustion can be considered as the most versatile centre piece. It's available as a 4, 5 or 6 string, with maple or pau ferro fingerboard and several luxurious finishes. It is standard equiped with an active EMG pre-amp and -either two or three- Dingwall FD-3N pickups. Needless to say, it features the multiscale arrangement providing a scale of 34" to 37" on a 5-string. The frets are stainless steel.
This 5-stringed example features a swamp ash body with a quilt maple top finished in a classy vintage burst, 5-piece maple neck with optional pau ferro fingerboard.
