The Darkglass Alpha Omega was developed in collaboration between Darkglass and Jon Stockman (Karnivool). Jon is known for his immense bass tones. Darkglass managed to get this punchy overdrive / distortion sound into a compact effect pedal
Unique to this pedal is the use of two different distortion circuits, also known as Alpha and Omega. These can be mixed through the MOD button. This gives you two completely different distortion sounds
Furthermore you will find a 3-band EQ, Blend (mixes the clean signal with the distorted signal), Level (volume of the distorted signal), Drive (amount of drive on your signal)
There are also two toggle switches on the Alpha Omega. The 'Growl' button gives the low an extra kick. By giving it an extra distortion. The 'Bite' switch is a mid-boost.
Outside the regular input and output, the Alpha Omega has an XLR output and a parallel output so you can use parallel processing.
There is no possibility to use a 9V battery as a power source. The Alpha Omega must be connected to a 9V power supply (center negative)
