D'angelico guitars are inspiring in every way. First of all they are beautiful to look at, but aside from all that outward show, D'angelico more than lives up to all expectations in terms of quality and tone!
The New York luthier has a rich history and is famous for their iconic jazz bodies. However, D'angelico's current collection also offers a wide range of solidbodies.
Like the Brighton from the Deluxe series; rockers, eat your heart out! The Brighton is the double-cut version of the Atlantic; a very comfortable guitar with the classic yet contemporary 1930s-inspired design that is so recognizable for D'angelico.
On this Deluxe Brighton you'll find a swamp-ash flat-top body with a flamed maple top. The 3-piece C-shaped neck is made of maple / walnut / maple and featuring an ebony fingerboard with 14" radius, Jescar Nickel / Silver frets, 24.75" scale and Tune-O-Matic stoptail.
All this makes the Brighton a very rich sounding and fat rocker with an edgy look and a character that balances perfectly on the line of a traditional and modern tone; while the ash clearly provides freshness and the ebony fingerboard contributes to directness, the fatness, reamyness and crunch comes from the Seth Lovers (with coil split) and the (relatively) short scale.
Comes with original hardcase.
