The guitars of D'angelico are inspiring in every way. In the first place they are beautiful to look at, but next to that D'Angelico guitars live up to all expectations with regard to sound and build quality.
The New York based guitar company has a rich history and is famous for their iconic jazz boxes. However, the current collection of D'angelico offers a wide collection of cool solid body, ES-style and off-set guitars as well.
Like the Brighton from the Deluxe series; rockers, eat your heart out! The Brighton is the double-cut version of the Atlantic; a very comfortable guitar with the classic yet contemporary 30's inspired design that is so recognizable for D'angelico. The specifications of these two models are the same: an alder flat-top body, 3-piece C-shaped neck which made of maple/rosewood/maple and features an ebony fingerboard with 14" radius, Jescar Nickel/Silver frets, 24.75" scale and Tune-O-Matic stoptail.
All this makes the Brighton a very rich sounding and fat rocker with an edgy look and a character that balances perfectly on the line between a traditional and modern tone; while the alder clearly adds freshness and the ebony fingerboard contributes directness, the fatness and crunch comes from the Seth Lovers and the (relatively) short scale.
Comes with original hardcase.
