The EXL140 set from d'addario is one of the most sold light top heavy bottom string sets worldwide. The heavier E A D strings provide a more stable low end. While the light top strings don't make solos unnecessarily heavy. Despite the fact that they are mostly used in the pop-/rock genres, they can be used for all genres imaginable.
