This shellkit from British's Legend series is completely handmade from 100% Scandinavian birch wood, finished in the now unobtainable Skye Blue finish. Using cold-press molding and cross laminating techniques, the super-strong shells are manufactured with unprecedented precision.
This gives these kits natural low and fundamental tones with immediate attack and controlled sustain. Tune them in the high for a bright response suitable for subtle playing techniques, and in the low for what British calls a "low-end growl."
In short, a very unique, rich and resonant sounding drum kit.
