The Boss Katana-210 is a bass guitar amp combo from the popular Katana amp series. This 2x10 inch, 160 watt bass guitar amp is ideal for almost any bass guitarist.
This amplifier is packed to the rafters with practical features such as switchable power control, 3 basic sounds including classic, natural tube tone with slight overdrive and a clear and round bass sound with wide dynamics and lots of overtones. But also a wide dynamic range with tight response is included for the bassist with a longer scale and lower tuning.
Options and sounds
Besides controlling gain and volume you can use the 4-band euqalizing to further shape your sound to your own preference. Also in terms of effects this cabinet is not shy, with 4 effect sections you have per section 6 standard effects, compression and drive. So you easily switch the overdrive, distortion or boost where probably the right sound for you is. There is also a dry level blend option and as icing on the cake, the Katana-210 also has a FX1 and FX2 which include effects such as an octaver, chorus and various delays and reverbs.
Connect and experiment
This combo has two 10-inch speakers to blow your mind and a tweeter for when you want more bite in your sound. Also separate effect pedals, preamps and headphones can be connected. In terms of connections there is an aux, USB 2.0 and an XLR output with the choice of pre, post or direct signal. This allows you to connect to all devices and software. Boss Tone Editor can be used to further tweak your sound and make recordings directly
