The Donut 14" by Big Fat Snaredrum is a very accessible way to make your snare sound different. This damper lowers the pitch, takes virtually all the "ring" off your snare and gives it a nice dull vintage sound. This embellisher has a bit less damping than The Original 14" due to the hole in the middle and retains just a bit more sound from the drumhead.
