The Audient ORIA gives engineers accessible and effective access to the world of immersive audio. This (Dolby approved) USB-C audio interface and monitor controller includes a good number of digital and analog I/O and supports up to 9.1.6 speaker configurations. ORIA features 24-bit/96kHz conversion, along with two excellent-sounding microphone preamps, two independent headphone outputs and a high-speed USB-C connection. The built-in DSP (for room calibration) provides access to EQ, speaker delay, trim and bass management. You also get tight integration with Sonarworks SoundID Reference, with a 60-day free trial of the software and a reference microphone.
Need more input channels? No problem: ORIA lets you add 16 additional input channels via an optional Dante card. You also get convenient support for remote control via your iPad. In short, ORIA is your all-in-one solution for calibrating, controlling and monitoring multi-channel speaker setups from stereo to 9.1.6 and everything in between.
Advanced immersive audio monitor control
The ORIA has an advanced monitor control feature that makes controlling a stereo, multichannel surround or immersive environment a simple matter. This Dolby-approved interface integrates effortlessly with the Dolby Renderer, so you can control your downmix directly from the device's user interface. You can use profiles to quickly switch between speakers, listening levels and target curves. The ORIA's fast workflow is very fine, including color-coded speaker groups, muting and soloing of individual and group speakers, global volume control, clipping and dimming functions, and global delay for post-production workflows. In addition, the LCD screen on the ORIA's front panel allows you to keep a close eye on measurements.
Advanced speaker processing
To work effectively with a multichannel speaker setup, you need a well-calibrated room. The ORIA takes this into account and features built-in DSP for manual room calibration with an 8-band EQ, speaker delay, trim and bass management. Don't want to manually calibrate the room? Thanks to ORIA's integration with Sonarworks SoundID Reference, there's no need. In fact, you can run Sonarworks profiles directly from ORIA's onboard DSP! Plus, ORIA comes with a free 60-day trial of multi-channel SoundID Reference to get you started, along with a SoundID Reference measurement microphone.
Lots of analog and digital I/O
The ORIA gives you more than enough I/O to handle professional multichannel sessions. For starters, you get 16 balanced analog outputs for up to 9.1.6 monitoring. Eight pairs of AES digital outputs are ideal for interfacing with digital speakers, plus you get dedicated stereo outputs for your non-immersive nearfields. Two Audient console-grade preamps deliver 60dB of gain and work as mic, line or hi-Z instrument inputs. You also get word clock I/O and 16 ADAT input channels, which are perfect for combining with an external 9.1.6 monitor controller or multi-channel mic preamp. You can also integrate into AoIP workflows with an optional Dante card (sold separately).
