The Audient iD series is truly a console in a box. Audient has been known as a fantastic builder of analog studio consoles (mixing consoles) for years, and they have taken this knowledge and expertise directly to their development of the iD interface. With the original Audient Console pre-amps that they adopted directly from the console, you are guaranteed a powerful and crystal clear signal. With JFET instrument inputs or guitars, for example, first-class converters and powerful headphone outputs, you know that whatever you undertake, you'll always be fine.

The iD 44 is currently the most powerful interface Audient has to offer. With 4 first-class pre-amps and 2 JFET Hi-z jack inputs, this interface is capable of easily recording multiple tracks simultaneously at high quality. The in-the-box software-controlled DSP Mixer allows you to create multiple mixes for different artists. And the two ADAT inputs and outputs allow you to add up to 16 channels. The three headphone outputs allow you to listen to the same mix together and record your song at the same time.

Record an entire band at once? Yes! You can. Via the two ADAT inputs and outputs you can add an extra pre-amp strip and record up to 20 microphone signals simultaneously with the greatest of ease. So an acoustic drum kit or complete band setting is no problem with this versatile interface. The ADAT Out gives you the ability to send up to 16 audio channels also back to the pre-amps for post production gain staging, or send them to a totally different device to then expand your possibilities of outboard gear even more.

INSERTS!

What is really unique about the iD 44, and its little brother the iD 24, is that they have inserts on inputs 1 and 2. This makes it incredibly easy just to use the iD 44 and 24 to connect your favorite outboard gear and build a favorite signal chain. If you want to bypass the pre-amp altogether due to line level sources, you can also use the insert return as a direct input for ultra pure signal flow.
