The EVO 8 is the next step in the EVO series and offers an incredible amount of features for its size. With a whopping 4 mic/line inputs and 1 JFET instrument input, you get by far the most I/O per square inch than ever before. The four mic inputs are ideal for anyone who wants to record multiple musicians at once or, for example, when using a podcast with more than two people.
With the EVO 8 it is also possible to control input levels, 48v Phantom power and the monitor mix via software on the PC/Mac. No more fumbling with separate buttons and reaching for the unit. Everything you really need can be controlled directly from the desktop.
Also, the EVO 8 is bus powered which means it does not need an external power supply but gets its power directly from the USB. So you can quickly record high quality audio wherever you are. Please note that if you want to supply 4 microphones with 48v phantom power, use the USB-C connector.
