The Arturia MiniLab mkII USB MIDI keyboard is a compact keyboard that you can easily take with you in your backpack for example. The MiniLab is powered by USB. On the MiniLab you can play your keyboards, input your drums with pads and control your plug-ins with the sixteen knobs. The MIDI keyboard is also equipped with a handy pitch bend and modulation touch strip and you have an input for sustain.
The MKII has better quality components; the housing, keybed and buttons have been renewed. The MiniLab MK2 comes with a nice collection of software, so you can get started right away, even if you do not have any music software! Check out Analog Lab Lite for example, where a large number of sounds are based on the many soft synths that Arturia has made: analog synths, workstations, organs, string machines and pianos.
The MiniLab mkII is nice and compact, friendly priced and still has all the features you need for (mobile) music production!
