Designed for the discerning bassist, the Tone Hammer series offers a lightweight yet powerful solution inspired by the soulful warmth of tube amps. The Drive control adds distortion and even more tube-like grit and punch to your sound. Equipped with the Aguilar Cabinet Suite, universal mains and extensive connectivity options, the Tone Hammer series meets the performance needs of bassists and provides a flawless blend between live, studio and home.
Inspired by the soulful warmth of classic tube designs, the Tone Hammer series is warm, harmonically rich and has just the right amount of character to inspire your playing.
Designed simply and intuitively, the 3-band EQ shapes your tone beautifully. The fully sweepable midrange lets you fine-tune your sound even further. The unique Drive control uses a proprietary circuit that adds subtle distortion and midrange punch to the sound.
With Aguilar Cabinet Suite software, players have the ability to load any of our in-house designed SL / DB cabinet IRs or load their own IR files for cabinet emulation options via XLR or headphone out.
With dual XLRs, users can freely shape their tone and apply IRs for their monitor mix, while simultaneously using the extra XLR to pre-eq'd a signal to the front-of-house mix. Now you can keep your engineer happy and your monitor world inspired! These amps also have Aux In and Headphone Out options for silent practice, as well as mix control for fine-tuning your listening experience.
The Tone Hammer Series has a universal mains for worry-free voltage changes when traveling internationally and the ability to support a 2.67-ohm load for extended cabinet pairings.
